How ordering works
Most orders happen entirely remotely: you upload the document, we translate it and send back the finished file. Here’s what happens at each stage.
- 1
Send the document
Upload a scan or a photo through the form, or just message us.
- 2
Quote & confirmation
We send a price and a timeline. Work starts once you confirm.
- 3
Translate & legalise
We translate the document. If legalisation’s part of the order, our partner certifies the translation and submits it.
- 4
Delivery
You get a PDF by email. If you need paper, pick it up by appointment or have it couriered.
Send the document
We accept PDF, JPG, PNG and DOCX: up to 5 files at a time, 10 MB each, 15 MB in total. If the document’s on paper, a phone photo is fine, as long as the text is legible and nothing’s cropped or blurred.
Quote & confirmation
The quote shows the price (per page, or the fixed price for the document), the timeline, and whether legalisation applies. If the document needs an apostille or legalisation, that’s its own line with its own price, never folded into the total.
Translate & legalise
For a plain translation, this is where it ends. For official use, the translation is certified by an MFA-contracted translator through our partner and, if needed, submitted for an apostille or consular legalisation at the right authority.
Delivery
The finished file arrives by email as a PDF. If you need a paper original with a wet stamp, pick it up from the office by appointment, or we’ll courier it to you (courier cost is separate).
Payment
We take bank transfer, and cash at the office by appointment. No cards, and nothing is paid online. For orders over €150 we ask for 50% upfront. Translation-only orders are paid on delivery. If the order includes legalisation, the state fee and our handling fee are paid before we submit, because the institutions take payment up front too.
Typical timelines
| Translating one standard document | usually 1–2 working days |
| Larger texts | agreed in the quote |
| Legalisation through our partner | usually 5–10 working days, depending on the institution |
| Apostille | usually a few working days, often 3–5 |
These are typical timelines, not guarantees. Institutions set their own pace.
Is a phone photo enough?
For the translation itself, yes, as long as it’s legible. For legalisation or an apostille, the institution may ask for the original.
Do I need to post you the original?
Usually not. It’s only needed when submitting for legalisation or an apostille, and even then bringing it to the office is often easier than posting it.
