You'll see the price and the route your document takes before you send us anything. What happens to your scan, too.
Three things we'd rather tell you up front.
Prices are published down to the cent, not hidden behind "call for a quote". You know whether it's worth sending the document before you send it.
For each document we tell you which authority certifies what, and whether your case needs an apostille or legalisation.
The file is deleted from the server the moment the email goes out. After that it's only in our inbox while we work on your enquiry.

Apostille or legalisation? It depends where the document's going.
If the country is part of the Hague Convention, an apostille is usually enough. If it isn't, the document goes through a chain of certifications that ends at that country's consulate. Send it over with the destination and we'll check which one applies to you.

Something else? We can still help, through vetted outside translators. It takes a little longer, and we confirm the price once we've seen the document.

What happens to your file
What you upload is usually a birth certificate, a diploma or a criminal record certificate: documents with personal data, some of it sensitive. The form emails the file to us and deletes it from the server as soon as that email is sent. It isn't archived anywhere else. It sits in our inbox while we work on the order. If a quote doesn't turn into an order, we delete it within 30 days of our last contact. Once an order's delivered, we delete it within 30 days, which leaves time to sort out a correction if something's off.
Quick answers
How long does one document take?
Most single documents take 1–2 working days. Longer texts get their own timeline in the quote.
Do you need the original, or is a scan enough?
For the translation itself, a scan or a clear photo is fine. You'll only need the physical original for an in-person legalisation or apostille submission.
What if the country isn't part of the Hague Convention?
Then it's legalisation instead of an apostille. The chain is longer, but we coordinate the steps.
